The U.S. Department of Energy has launched a campaign “Stay Warm, Save Money” on 1st October, Energy Awareness Month. You can get information on Energysavers.gov website. This educational campaign focuses on to help home owners and businesses to use energy efficient products and save on energy costs. The President of U.S. has set a goal to slow the growth of green house gas emissions by 2025. To support this goal the department is working to develop cleaner, more affordable, diverse, reliable and sustainable energy sources.

The energysavers.gov site is for Americans who are looking for tools to help them save money on energy costs and make home and businesses more energy efficient. This site is a resource for energy efficiency tips and how to lower the energy costs.

Once you register with the site, you will get weekly energy saving tips and the Energy Savers that are designed a year-round resource for American energy needs revised as the season changes. It also offers financial assistance links, long-term energy saving solutions. You can download the every saving to-do list and other materials that help you save money on energy cost.
